Performance / Action

1) Roasted grains should be slightly roasted. Finely chop the potato, tomato, onion, and chopped coriander leaves. Let the lemon be chopped.

2) Put oil in a pan, add Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves, Chillies, Turmeric Powder, Rice Powder, Ginger-Garlic Paste.

3) After pouring potato, tomato and stirring it for two minutes. Drain hot water as much as you want.


4) Serve hot with cilantro, shavings, onion, and fenugreek and serve with bread.

Dabeli is one of the most favorite Indian street foods of all time. This is a Gujarati recipe. It was first sold in a place called Kutch in Gujarat. hence the snack got its name as kutchi dabeli, also dabeli literally means 'Pressed' in the Gujarati language. You can easily find this dabeli sold in every street and corner. Mostly Dabeli famous on Mumbai street in Maharashtra.

Ingredients:



  • Pav 
  • Peanuts
  • Fine shev  
  • Butter and oil
  • Pomegranate
  • Coriander leaves
  • Peanuts
  • Potato
  • Chat masala, chili powder, salt.
  • Water

Dabeli Masala:




  • Heat up pan on medium Flame.
  • Add coriander seeds, cinnamon sticks, fennel seed, cloves, cumin seeds, peppercorns and roast them a little golden color. Blend into a fine powder.
  • Add chili powder, chat masala, tamarind chutney, salt and mix well properly. 
 Dabeli Stuffing: 


  •  Roast the peanuts and peel them.
  •  Add red chili powder, chat masala, salt, oil and toss them. Keep the peanuts aside.
  • Heat up oil in a pan. Add about 2-3 tbsp dry masala in the oil.
  • Add a little water and mix well.
  • Add boiled, peeled and mashed potato, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Stuffing for kacchi dabeli is ready.
Kacchi Dabeli Recipe:


  •  First Cut the pav in between without breaking into two part.
  • Spread tamarind chutney one side and garlic chutney on another side.
  • spread stuffing on bread.
  • Add finely chopped onion, pomegranate, peanuts and close the dabeli.
  • Heat up the Pan on medium heat. Add butter on it.
  • Roast from one side until it becomes crispy with some butter.
  • Take the dabeli off the pan and coat the edges well with shev.
  • Finally, serve it immediately and enjoy Enjoy with your family.
     

Fried Modak Recipe is a crispy crunchy Modak. The Inner is soft and the outer covering is crispy. Fried modak also taste good and something different to try than regular modaks. 




Mawa Modak



Ingredients:


  • Maida: 2 cup
  • Ghee: 2 tbsp 
  • Mava: 2 cup 
  • Water: 1 cup
  • Sugar Powder: 1/2 cup 
  • Dry fruits: 2 tbsp 
  • Salt    
1) For the cover :



  • Take a Maida in a bowl.
  • Add salt, warm ghee. Mix well 
  • Add little water and make the thick smooth dough.
  • Do not make this dough and dough rest for 30 min.
  • Make small balls from a dough.
2) For the Filling :


  • Heat ghee in a pan at medium flame.
  • Add Mava and fry until they get golden brown color. Cool down for 5 min.
  • Mix sugar powder, and dry fruits.
  • Now Stuffing is ready.   
3) Fried Modak Recipe:


  • Make pari from bolls. The pari should neither too thick and not too thin.
  • Do not use dry flour while rolling pari.
  • Add stuffing and make nice plates. seal edges properly.
  • Heat up oil on medium flame.
  • Fry modak one by one until they get golden color from all sides. 
  • Crispy and Delicious Modak is ready for an offer to the Lord Ganesha.

Modak Recipes are quite popular across Maharashtra and some other part of India. Modak is Lord Ganesha favorite dish. That's why it is offered to him as prasad during the Ganesha festival. Ukadiche is Marathi word, meaning 'steamed' so its called steamed Modak recipe.

Ukadiche Modak recipe


Ingredients: 



  • Rice Flour: 2 cup 
  • Milk: 1 cup
  • Ghee: 1 tbsp 
  • fresh Coconut: 2 cup 
  • Water: 2 cup
  • Food Colors(Orange & Green): a few drops
  • Sugar Powder: 1/2 cup 
  • poppy seeds:1 tbsp 
  • Salt    

For the cover:



  • Heat up water in a pan. Add ghee, milk.
  • when water is a boil, add rice flour and stir 5 min.
  • Mix well then keep it covered for about 15 min.
  • Make smooth and lumps free dough.
  • Make smooth balls out of it in same three separate colors.
For the Filling:


  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add coconut, sugar powder, salt and poppy seeds, in a pan.
  • Heat it on a low flame and stir it on golden brown color.
  • Keep aside and let it cool.     

Modak Recipe:



  • Take one ball each color and press them together.It should be properly sealed.
  • Make pari (Modak cover)from tri-color dough ball by pressing it lightly from edges.
  • Make Plates to pari and add stuffing in it.
  • close the modak like flower shape.
  • Make all the Modaks and keep them in a steamer pan.
  • Steam for 10 to 15 min. on medium flame.
  • Modak is ready for an offer to the Lord Ganesha.

This is a sweet dish made from flour and dusted with powder sugar. Chirote is traditional Karnataka sweet that is prepared on special occasions and religious festivals. It is also very popular dessert in traditional Maharashtra cuisine and is called Chirote. 




Chirote


Ingredient: 

  • Maida : 2 cup
  • Ghee : 2 tbsp
  • Salt : Only for taste 
  • Rose Pink Color : Few drops
  • Sugar Powder : 1 tbs
  • Rice flour paste: 1 tbsp
  • oil or ghee: for frying



How to make Chirote :

  • In a Maida add the ghee, salt and mix well.
  • Take out 1/3 rd portion of it separately and add few drops of rose pink color to it.
  • Take 3 portions of the kneaded dough. 1 in pink and the rest in white color.
  • Roll out the 3 kneaded dough. Brush the rotis with warm ghee and then spread the rice flour paste over it.
  • While doing this, Place the white roti at the bottom, then pink and then white.
  • Then roll the same gently using hands. Cut into small parts.
  • Then lightly roll all of them. Then fry the same on a medium flame.
  • Sprinkle the powder sugar or sugar syrup over the chirote.
  • The delicious and sweet, crunchy chirote are ready to be served. 
  • Store in an airtight container and they stay fresh for at least one week.

  • White Bread Slice: 8
  • Cucumber slice: 4

How to Make Tri-color Sandwich:

How to Make Bread Roll


  • First, boil the potatoes and mash them with a potato masher.
  • Heat up oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic green chili paste, thing and last turmeric powder. 
  • Add mashed potato, coriander, and salt (For taste). Mix well all ingredient properly.
  • Take the bread slices and slice off the side crusts.  
  •  Take water in a bowl. Dip one bread slice in the water.
  • Do not use much water just moisten it.
  • Make sure the bread stays intact and does not break. So press gently.
  • Place the prepared potato stuffing on bread slice.
  • Seal all roll edges and make a nice roll. Keep it aside.
  • These rolls are deep fry on oil. Fry till rolls on golden brown.
  • Place the crispy bread rolls on kitchen paper to remove extra oil.
  • You can serve crispy bread roll with sauce or any chutney.

Gulab Jamun is an Indian sweet dish which, Indian peoples love to eat. Indian peoples celebrate many festivals with Gulab Jamun. 

Gulab Jamun


Ingredients:





  • Gits Gulab Jamun pack: 1 pack
  • Sugar: 2 cup
  • Water: 3 cup
  • Oil or Ghee: for deep frying
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Kesar: 1-2 gm.

How to make Gulab Jamun:



  • Firstly, in a pan take 2 cup sugar and 3 cup water.
  • Add kesar and continually stir for 10 min.
  • The sugar syrup is ready.
  • Now take Gits Gulab Jamun mix in mixing bowl and add slightly warm milk for dough.
  • Make the soft and smooth dough.
  • Make small balls greasing ghee to hand.
  • Make sure there are no cracks on bolls.
  • These bolls are deep fry on ghee or oil. 
  • Fry till the bolls on golden brown.
  • Immediately, drop the frying Jamun bolls into the sugar syrup. Rest for 30 min.
  • The Gulab Jamun has in doubled size.
  • Finally, Gits instant Gulab Jamun is ready to serve.

Poha Idli Recipe


Ingredient:


  • Poha: 4 cup
  • Curd: 1 cup
  • Salt: add as per taste
  • Eno/baking soda: ½ tbsp
  • Water: 1 cup ( add as per consistency )
  • Oil for grease idli mold


How to make Poha idli recipe: 


  • Take poha in fine size. Add curd, salt, and water as required.
  • Mix well properly into the smooth batter. Make sure that there are no lumps. Rest for 10 min.
  • Prepare the steamer.
  • In idli, batters add Eno/baking soda.
  • Stir in one direction for approx. 1 min. You notice its size would increase by almost double.
  • Immediately idli batters pour into idli mold and steam for 15 min.
  • After idli removed from mold leave for 5 min for cooling.
  • This Instant idli serves with idli Sāmbhar and chatni.

Dhokla Recipe




Ingredient:

  • Besan/Rava: 3 cup
  • Eno: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: ½ tbsp
  • Sugar: 2 tbsp
  • Refined Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Green Chili: 2 (paste)
  • Ginger: 1 inch( Paste)
  • Lemon Juice: 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard Seed: 1 tbsp
  • Coriander: 4tbsp
  • Curd: 1 cup
  • Water: 1/2 cup


Dhokla Recipe


How to make instant Dhokla:

  • Take Besan in a bowl/ Rava.
  • Add curd, salt, turmeric powder, sugar, refined oil, green chili paste, ginger paste, lemon juice, and water.
  • Mix well properly into a smooth batter. Make sure that there are no lumps. Rest for 10 min.
  • Prepare the steamer. Grease the Dhokla tray with oil from all sides.
  • In Dhokla batter add Eno and 1 tbsp water on it to activate Eno Mix.
  • Stir in one direction for approx. 1 min. You notice its size would increase by almost double.
  • Immediately Dhokla batters pour into tray and steam for 15 min.
  • After 15 min. remove the tray from the steamer and let it cool for 5 min.
  • Allow Dhokla to cool then cut in the desired shape.



How to make sugar syrup:

  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a small pan and add the mustard seed, green chili, coriander.
  • Add 1 cup water, 2 tbsp sugar and let it come to a boil.
  • Require syrup is little thick, less than one consistency.
  • Remove from the flame and allow cooling.

Pour this sugar syrup over the Dhokla and garnished with coriander and grated coconut.
Enjoy and serve with your family in any season.

  • Baking Soda-1/4 tbsp
  • Salt – add as per taste
  • Red chilly Powder -1/3 tbsp
  • Onion- 4
  • Oil –for deep fry


    How to make Crispy Onion Pakoda


    • First, cut onions into long thin slices.
    • In a one bowl mix together Basan, rice flour, baking soda, salt and red chilly Powder.
    • Due to adding rice flour, Pakoda makes crispy and crunchy.
    • Add 1 tbsp hot oil and add water little by little.
    • Make a batter thick and smooth. Leave it aside for 20 min.
    • Fry it till it becomes golden browns on both sides. Do not overcrowd them.
    • Then serve with a cup of hot tea or coffee in the rainy season.
